Fractals and Dancers
Here is a collection of Encaustics* that have been brewing over the past year. Encaustics offers challenges and new possabilities for image creation. Here are some reflections on life as fractal, on the beauties of corporate music and dance, when the individual willingly steps aside to make way to a new larger coorporate beauty. The many become a new joyful one in the willing mutual submission.

*Encaustics are paintings made with wax. Mine are worked in natural beeswax with added Damar Resin to raise the melting point. Encaustic painting gives the opportunity for additive and subtractive processes, scraping backing and layering back in. Each layer gets fused to the last creating a solid durable painting while creating many milky cloudy transparent layers.
